You Probably Won’t Get Murdered IV:… (7/27/18)

MCR cordially invites you to our FOURTH moped rally, taking place this year from July 27th to 29th, 2018.

REGISTRATION

Please register in advance here: http://www.mcrdetroit.com. Pre-registration will close at noon on Thursday, July 26. After that, you will also be able to register in person on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning before the long ride.

ITINERARY 

Check in on Friday at Brew Detroit in Corktown from 2 to 7 pm. We will lead various informal rides throughout the afternoon. At 7:30 pm, the opening ceremonies will occur at Brew. At 8 pm, there will be a night ride, ending with dinner at Kelly’s Bar Hamtramck.

From 9 am to 11:30 am. Come by on Saturday morning for breakfast. The long ride will leave at 12 pm and will include a stop for food. The after party and raffle will take place at Detroit Moped Works‘s new facility a block away from where it is now on Michigan avenue.

On Sunday, depending on the weather, we will be riding to breakfast/lunch and to the beach. Feel free to hang out as long as we are around.

RAFFLE

The raffle will take place at the new DMW spot on Saturday night. We will be raffling off the moped shown below, as well as a TON of other stuff — parts, gift certificates, apparel, whatever. All fundraising from the raffle is used to help maintain our clubhouse and to continue to host events for the moped scene here in Detroit. There will be plenty of gratis refreshments and some entertainment as well.
